Baras in Matond(Vengurla) March 2010

Baras: Like we clean our homes regularly to wash away all the dirt n filth which is accumulated. Similarly, the same activity is carried to takeaway all the evil spirits prevailing in the village by celebrating and calling it as Baras. The latest one being held in March 2010 at Matond (in Vengurla). Earlier it was held some 25 years ago. (any corrections to be made, please suggest)
